Sewing For Beginners
In this exciting class you will learn all the sewing basics you will need to use a sewing machine! At the end of this 2.5 hr class you will leave with a completed tote bag. This class is appropriate for ages 10 and up. You will need to take this class before taking any other sewing classes we provide unless you can test out of it. If you are picking out your materials the same day as the class please arrive 15 mins or more early to select your materials.

- Thread a sewing machine
- Thread a bobbin
- Learn about seam allowance
- How to cut out a pattern
- How to sew a pattern
- How to make a tote bag
Materials needed
- 2 Half yards of fabric (one for your exterior and one for your interior)
- 1/2 yard of fusible fleece
- 30 Inches of webbing for your handles
- Sewing Machine
- Cutting Mat
- Scissors or Rotary Cutter
- Ruler

You may transfer your class to another person or use it as a credit towards your next class If given notice 24 hours before the class.
